Legal and ethical:
One of main things that I need to consider is I’m I breaking any copyright laws. Since I am planning to have the external sources of audio that I would have gathered from the internet, I would find out whether it is free to use or not. Therefore I will need to contact the relevant people regarding audio. Another thing that I would have to consider is that is the content suitable for the audience, sometime in the future there may be games that are controversial to the public for being too explicit, if we decide to review the game it may lead to some backlash with our audience. One why we could combat this is to include a warning before the podcast so that stop listening to that particular if it might cause offence to them. To add to this the other thing that I need to consider is that are the games appropriate for me,  since I am only seventeen and some of the game out there have an eighteen rating it wold be right for me to review it, this is because it would set up a bad example to the audience as it would seem that I am encouraging young people to go out and play the games. Having a radio show or podcast means that you have a certain level of responsibility for the public.

Sample of the script:
P1: Welcome back. So back on topic: GTA V.

P2: It is now the year 2015 and rockstar north have finally released GTA v for PC, the re-release for this version was made available for PC on the 14th of April. The re-release changes little from the basic gameplay of the original version however, one of the more significant changes that have been made is that the online multiplier mode has now been increase from 16 to 30. The latest version of GTA V also includes a first person option, this seems great at first however after playing around with it a while you begin to notice that everything has become a lot harder. For example when driving you can only see what is in front of you, so you end up constantly crashing into things every time you want to turn. Although this is a setback, it also enhances other aspects of the game. An example of this is shooting, when you shooting up the place if feels like you’re playing call of duty I think that it is amazing that you can actually aim down your sights now.

P1: There's been a lot of concern about the game not running in its promised 60 frames per second. The reason? People's computers.

P2: One of the other things that I notice when playing this is that the Pc version can support 60fps and it is also 4K resolution compatible, this is good news for anyone that has the equipment to support this that wants to really bring the game alive.
Initial idea:
Pass- This is because thee are a lot of other media products that are similar to the ones that I am doing.

Target Audience:
Merit - This is because within sheffield there are a lot of teenagers / school  and college students, and since my podcast is targeted towards that age group it means that I will be targeting the majority of sheffield.

Format:
Merit - I wanted this as a podcast because I think that is would be easily assessable for people to listen to. Unlike the radio, you don't need a strong signal to listen to it. All you need to do is to download it and it is there for the audience to listen to whenever they want.

Finance:
Pass - This is because if was actually going to produce this podcast then it would be very expansive to start it.

Idea 1

Gaming.

One of the first of my ideas is a podcast on gaming reviews and all the news about new game releases on all platforms. Each episode will be ten minutes long and I will be exploring the news of all of the most popular games.
For this idea the target audience would be in the age range of ( 14- 21 ) and mainly male. This is because most of the gamers tend to be male and it only seem to get the attention of people who are within that age range. This would appeal more to people who have a lot of spare time and most likely doesn't work, this is because gaming can be quite time consuming so if you are busy then you wont be able it enjoy it as much. The ideal person would have a stable income as they can afford to buy all of the latest games and game consoles however, it can also appeal to people with a lower income as game consoles are updated around every 5 years.
My podcast would be available to the audience weekly, each episode will contain information on a different game.

Within the podcast I would start with a topic, the topic could be about sports. So for a couple of episodes i will be talking about the different types of sports games e.g FIFA, Madden, NBA etc...
Within each episode there would be a review of the game which would include the positives and the negatives, and would the game by worth buying. This podcast would be up to date because there are a mass amount of games to cover and new games are always being released quite often.
To record this podcast I would need a microphone so that I can record the audio, I would also need a computer with the software adobe audition. This is because this wont be live so the audio can be edited so that it can sound professional.

My possible ideas.

One of the first of my ideas is a podcast on gaming reviews and all the news about new game releases on all platforms. Each episode will be ten minutes long and I will be exploring the news of all of the most popular games.
The second idea is that I will create a music podcast. This podcast will be thirty minutes long and will contain a remix of all of the songs from a certain time of the year.
The third idea that I had will be a radio show on film reviews. Each show will be 20 minutes long and will contain my own views on some of the most popular films that are out currently. I will also be reviewing films from other years.

IP or the pitch.

The idea that I will be pitching is shared between me (Andre) and Ken. We came up with the topic of gaming then we developed on the idea on turning it into a gaming podcast which would consist of reviewing games and and talking about some of the events that have happened at some of the E-sports events. The one main thing that I have contributed to the pitch was about the reviewing the games section of the podcast, this will include mine and kens personal opinion of the game and how well the game has done within its first week of release. Ken came up with talking about E - sports section, this will include all of the main events and how e-sports become as big as it has today.
